School Nurse
Job Title:
School Nurse(s)-RN-12 Months (222 workdays annually)
Job Description:
School nurses at SCEC work as part of a multidisciplinary special educational team, with students ages 3-22, to maximize learning and positive health outcomes.
The RN's responsibilities will include but are not limited to student assessment, medication administration, care plan development, health education, family support, health screenings and referrals, and collaboration with educators and school administrator to ensure students have access to safe and healthy learning environments.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Licensure as an RN in Massachusetts Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university Massachusetts School Nurse Licensure 2 years of pediatric experience Position Type:
Full-Time and Per Diem Opportunities Available Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, between the hours of 7:
00 AM-3:
30 PM (7.
5 hour work day), assigned to various SCEC locations as needed.
